FTP accounts
By default, access to the files that make up the site is possible only via the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). It allows you to transfer files between your local computer and the hosting server.
To see which FTP accounts are available in the hosting space, click FTP Accounts:
To create a new account, click the Add button
Enter the user name (User name – the FTP login), the password (Password), then choose the home directory (Home folder) to which the user should have access and set the permissions.
The FTP server allows the user to access only their home directory and its sub-directories. By default, the home directory is created at the top level of the space—it is not linked to any domain or site directory.
NOTE: The chosen user name may be reserved or already in use by another user. In that case pick a different name.

To find out how to use the account, select the space summary (View Space Summary) and scroll to the FTP section:
